My dad had been strong for years, but then one day things changed. Now 94 years old, he got sick and things quickly went downhill.

Dad needed nursing home care.

We applied but he was rejected. We discovered he was financially helping his children when they needed money. It wasn’t much but over the years, it added up.

This is considered gifting by Medicaid and is not allowed so he was disqualified for assistance.

Nursing Homes cost $9600 a month.
